Why LED Phototherapy?
LED Phototherapy is the application of beneficial wavelengths into the skins deepest layer to energise our skin cells. What makes our Dermalux machine different to others?
We have the Tri-Wave at HI Therapies which is a free standing machine however there is a smaller portable one too called Flex.
So, what’s the difference?
- The Tri-Wave is 3 times stronger than the Flex
- You can have a stand alone session with the Tri-Wave because of its power, where as the flex is only suitable for an add on to treatments
- The treatment times with the flex would be longer compared to one with the Tri-Wave so you would need a lot more treatments to deliver the same results
- The Tri-Wave has better coverage as has a bigger surface and more LED lights, hence it being stronger

Aftercare
- Avoid touching the area for the next few hours
- No make-up unless mineral make-up for the next 12-24 hours
- Never use sun beds or go into direct sunlight with out a broad spectrum SPF
- Avoid abrasive treatments (waxing, exfoliators & products containing AHA’s/BHA’s) for the next 48 hours
- Leave your products on the skin for as long as possible unless stated otherwise
- Always follow your therapists home care regime, otherwise results will vary
